I love the temperature and the general simplicity but I am a bit bummed that it shuts off at 120+ instead of cooling. I have to leave the shower tent and restart it or make someone else stand out in the cold to make sure it stays going.
When it runs, it's a delight. To get there, some tears were shed and our marriage is stronger for the trauma bonding over a failed bathing appliance...it comes down to collective stupidity and. The instructions don't mention the showerhead has to be on/running to work and the guide really needs the camping nincompoop equivalent of IT's "did you restart it?" before leaping into fuses and reassembly.
Overall, would absolutely buy again. 100 times over. We live in an rv on an uninhabitable farm and hot showers in New England fall that don't involve kettles or solar shower bags are a game changer.

To drain the device properly, please open the drain stern at the bottom right of the water heater, turning in a counter clockwise direction. Disconnect all incoming and outgoing water lines to ensure proper drainage from the water heater.

The unit was designed for portable outdoor use. It is splash-proof and can manage a little drizzle, however, prolonged exposure to rain/water will damage the internal components. We recommend our Pro Series which can install a weather-proof rain cap and has larger flow rate (from 1.58 to 5.28 GPM).
